I use a pentel brushpen, i used to use brush and ink but it can get messy. So now i use the pentel brush pen (FP10) you refill it with cartridges which is nice ! You can also buy tese empty brush pens that are supposed to be filled with water( for water colour work) but i tend to throw crazy acrylic inks into them, which can make them clog.
Best inks to use, japenese ones. www.dinkybox.com sell an awesome line of super dark japenese ink which scans well, and also a stack load of screen tone!
